The Allegheny Passage is a cycling and hiking trail from Washington D.C. to Pittsburgh. By appropriating bridges along the trail for interventions, the goal is to create nodes of stopping rather than places of passing.
With the focus on McKeesport, this stopping will allow for an economic and environmental return to the town that could not transition after the collapse of the American steel industry.
