Seen as a rite of passage for all Cornell architecture undergraduates, students study structural systems before embarking on simulating an existing building in model form.

The structural model here is the Nanjing Art Museum by Steven Holl. This was used to understand the abilities of trusses alongside the use of braced I-beams and pinned connections.
