Nautilus Hotel

Nautilus Hotel

Maui, Hawaii

This vacation hotel proposal is sited on the north-western tip of Maui Island in Hawaii. The hotel's form is inspired by a nautilus' spiral shell. Walkways and wings connect the central vertical core to the spiral. The hotel holds 64 guest rooms and facilities such as a lobby bar, restaurant, gym and spa along with an outdoor pool and lounging areas.

The skeletal spiral takes advantage of the views provided by the cliffs and blurs the definition between outdoor and indoor space to best utilize the Hawaii vacation climate.
